Chicago-based Prenosis recognized for pushing the boundaries of biology and AI in acute care innovation

CHICAGO, IL – September 24, 2025 – Prenosis has been named one of the Top 100 Finalists for the 24th Annual Chicago Innovation Awards, which celebrates the most innovative new products and services in the Chicago region across all industries. Over 700 business and civic leaders will gather to honor the winners when they are announced on November 13, 2025, at the University of Illinois Chicago Forum.

Prenosis earned this recognition for its Sepsis ImmunoScore™, the first and only FDA-authorized AI diagnostic tool for sepsis, developed on the company’s Immunix™ platform. Sepsis ImmunoScore combines biomarkers and clinical data to generate real-time, predictive insights into sepsis risk, helping clinicians make more confident decisions when time is critical.

Each finalist is also in the running for the annual People’s Choice Award, which invites the public to vote for their favorite innovation of the year. Voting is open now through Friday, October 9 at chicagoinnovation.com/nominations.

Out of the Top 100 Finalists, a panel of judges will select 20 winners of the Chicago Innovation Awards. In addition to being celebrated at the awards ceremony, winners will be invited to ring the NASDAQ Bell in New York City and will receive widespread media recognition.
