Prenosis was proud to sponsor and participate in the Sepsis Alliance Summit 2025, a two-day virtual event hosted by the Sepsis Alliance Institute. The Summit brought together clinicians, researchers, innovators, regulators, investors, and survivors to share knowledge, explore solutions, and spark collaboration that can change the trajectory of sepsis care.

Day 1: Innovation and Possibility

Packed with insights on how science and technology are reshaping sepsis care, sessions focused on:

  • New approaches to sepsis quality measurement and how documentation drives quality performance
  • AI- and biomarker-based diagnostics to support earlier, more accurate detection
  • Real-world case studies demonstrating practical implementation of best practices

The day’s discussion made one thing clear: better detection means better care and better outcomes. The level of engagement among clinicians, researchers, and industry partners highlighted the shared commitment to moving sepsis innovation forward.

Day 2: From Insight to Action

Day 2 shifted the focus to application—taking what we know and putting it into practice. Highlights included:

  • Sepsis subphenotypes and hospital-acquired sepsis, which are important populations and phenotypes that require tailored strategies
  • Sponsored sessions on rapid diagnostics, biomarker use, and SEP-1 compliance
  • Collaborative approaches to overcoming barriers to early detection and equitable access

The conversations emphasized that advancing sepsis care will require not just new technology, but also robust collaboration across health systems, researchers, and innovators.

Our Perspective

Both days underscored why Prenosis is committed to advancing AI-powered tools like Sepsis ImmunoScore™ to help clinicians identify risk earlier, support timely intervention, and enable more confident decision-making. Events like the Sepsis Alliance Summit remind us that progress requires earlier diagnosis, precision approaches, and collaboration, and we’re proud to be part of the conversations driving these priorities forward.
