Sepsis ImmunoScore® demonstrates stronger predictive performance than conventional sepsis tools.
In a comparison study of 6,027 adults with suspected infection across 7 U.S. hospital sites, Sepsis ImmunoScore achieved an AUC of 0.82 for sepsis diagnosis — outperforming SOFA, PCT, CRP, SIRS, NEWS, and qSOFA, with all comparisons reaching statistical significance (p<0.001). In the study, Sepsis ImmunoScore also more accurately predicted risk of sepsis within 24 hours, ICU admission, and in-hospital mortality.
